Panasonic's superior user interface, history with 4-line cordless phones and a history of reliability make the KX-TG4500B 4-line cordless phone system a great alternative to a small digital phone switch.  It's a great choice for a small growing business.  RCA's 25450RE3 4-line system really excels in environments where longer than average range is critical.  At the same time, the sound quality of the RCA 4-line system does not appear to suffer too badly due to interference that can be common with 900 mhz phones.  Call transfer and other features require a few more key strokes than the Panasonic KX-TG4500B.    The RCA 25450RE3 also requires all calls placed on hold to be "released from hold" on the same handset...an inconvenience for some.
